RoleLogic › Discord verification
Verify Who Your Members Really Are — Then Give Them the Role
Short answer: RoleLogic is a free Discord verification bot. Members sign in with the platform you care about — YouTube, Twitch, Steam, Roblox, GitHub, osu!, Kick, Bluesky, TikTok or Stripe — through that platform's own OAuth, and RoleLogic assigns the role only if the check passes. It then keeps re-checking, so the role disappears when the subscription, follow, or rank does.
What does a Discord verification bot actually verify?
“Verification” means three different things in Discord, and picking the wrong one wastes a weekend. A captcha bot verifies that a visitor is human. Discord’s Linked Roles verify that an account exists and stop there. RoleLogic handles the third kind: proving a member is a specific person on a specific platform — this YouTube channel’s member, this Twitch channel’s subscriber, this Roblox group’s rank — through that platform’s own sign-in, and then keeping the Discord role honest as that status changes.
How verified role assignment works
Members prove the connection once. RoleLogic keeps checking it forever.
Member signs in
The member authorises the platform directly — Google, Twitch, Steam, Roblox, GitHub and friends. RoleLogic never sees a password.
The check runs
The plugin asks the platform the question you configured: is this account subscribed, following, ranked, contributing, paying?
The role follows the answer
Pass and the role is added. Stop qualifying — unsubscribe, unfollow, lapse — and it is removed on the next check.
What you can verify
Every integration is a first-class plugin with its own setup page. All are on the free plan.
| Verify that a member… | Integration |
|---|---|
| is subscribed to your YouTube channel | YouTube Subscriber Role |
| follows or subscribes on Twitch | Twitch Follower Role |
| owns a Steam account with certain playtime or achievements | Steam Player Role |
| holds a Roblox group rank or gamepass | Roblox Player Role |
| contributed to your GitHub repositories | GitHub Contributor Role |
| reached a given osu! rank or play count | osu! Player Role |
| follows or subscribes on Kick | Kick Channel Role |
| has a Bluesky account that follows you | Bluesky Account Role |
| is a TikTok creator at a follower threshold | TikTok Creator Role |
| has an active Stripe subscription | Stripe Subscriber Role |
| reached a Genshin Impact Adventure Rank | Genshin Player Role |
| passed your application form or quiz | Form Respondent Role |
| redeemed a code you handed out | Referral Code Role |
| is connecting from a given country or language | Member Origin Role |
Verification rules people run
The plugin produces the verified role; a rule turns it into whatever access you want.

One integration, one role, no code.
Invite RoleLogic to your Discord server
One click, Manage Roles only. The bot cannot read messages, see DMs, or open private channels.
Link a role to the integration you want
Pick the Discord role that means “verified”, connect it to the platform's plugin, and configure the check — channel, group, rank, threshold.
Members verify themselves once
They sign in with the platform directly. Nothing is manual, and there is no approval queue for moderators to work through.
RoleLogic keeps the role honest
The check is re-run continuously, so a lapsed subscription or a dropped follow removes the role without anyone auditing it.
Why this beats screenshots and approval queues
Manual verification does not scale, and it is wrong the moment someone unsubscribes.
Proof, not claims
The platform itself answers the question. No screenshots to inspect, no DMs to trust, nothing for a member to fake.
Revokes itself
The failure mode of manual verification is that nobody ever un-verifies anyone. Continuous re-checks fix that by default.
Stackable
Run several integrations at once and combine them with role conditions — “Twitch subscriber AND GitHub contributor” is one rule.
No moderator queue
Members verify themselves at any hour. Your team never becomes the bottleneck between a new supporter and their role.
Data minimalism
Each flow stores the minimum the check needs, and the bot itself still holds only the Manage Roles permission.
Open to anything else
The Role Link API is public, so a source RoleLogic does not ship can still drive a Discord role through the same contract.
Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask about verifying Discord members.
What does a Discord verification bot actually verify?
It depends on the bot. Captcha bots verify that a visitor is human. Discord's Linked Roles verify that an external account exists and is connected. RoleLogic verifies a specific fact about that account — subscribed, following, ranked, contributing, paying — through the platform's own OAuth, and then keeps the Discord role in sync with that fact.
How is this different from Discord's built-in Linked Roles?
Linked Roles check a connection and grant one role inside one server, and they cannot combine that result with the roles a member already has or with anything in another server. RoleLogic's verified role is a normal Discord role, so every other rule — tiers, cross-server actions, exclusivity, auto-revoke — can build on it.
Do members have to give RoleLogic their password?
No. Verification runs through the platform's own sign-in (OAuth or the platform's equivalent). Members authorise on the platform's site and RoleLogic only receives the answer to the check.
Does the role go away when someone unsubscribes?
Yes, and that is the point. The check is re-run continuously rather than once at verification time, so a lapsed subscription, an unfollow, or a lost group rank removes the role automatically.
Can I require two verifications for one role?
Yes. Each integration produces its own Discord role, so a rule using “Has All Roles” can require both — and you can stack up to 9 additional AND-conditions on a single rule.
Can I verify something you don't have an integration for?
Yes. The Role Link API is open: any service that can call an HTTPS endpoint can add and remove users on a linked Discord role, in any language, without RoleLogic needing to ship support for it.
Is a Discord verification bot free?
Yes. The free plan includes 3 integrations per server and 100 linked users per integration; premium raises both. All 3 free rules can build on the verified roles.
Can verification results be shared with a second server?
Yes. A cross-server action can mirror the verified role into a linked server (2 destination servers on the free plan, 10 on premium), which is how partner and network servers avoid making everyone verify twice.
What permissions does RoleLogic need?
Only Manage Roles. RoleLogic cannot read messages, cannot access private channels, and cannot see member DMs. It only assigns and removes the roles you have linked to rules.
Every verification integration
Each plugin has its own setup guide, FAQ, and example configurations.
