How are TikTok stats fetched?
RoleLogic uses TikTok Login Kit (OAuth) and the TikTok Display API (/v2/user/info/) to read public account stats — followers, verification status, videos, likes, etc. No login storage, no credentials kept.
How often are stats re-checked?
On an adaptive schedule. Active members are re-checked more frequently (every 30 min to a few hours) than idle ones, fitting within TikTok's daily API quota.
What if a member's follower count drops below the threshold?
On the next re-check, RoleLogic detects the drop and removes the Discord role automatically. No manual revoke, no alerts — just automatic sync.
Can I require a verified badge?
Yes. Enable 'Require verified account' and only members with the TikTok blue check will get the role.
Does the member's TikTok profile need to be public?
Yes. TikTok's public Display API only works for public profiles. Private accounts can't be verified by any third party — that's a TikTok restriction.
