RoleLogic v1.14.1
Release Date: May 30, 2026
What's New
Find Your Role Conditions Faster
Servers with lots of automation can build up a long list of role conditions in the sidebar. This release makes that list far easier to work with.
- Search as you type. Once you have several role conditions, a search box appears at the top of the list — just start typing to filter by name. Clearing it is one click away.
- Smart grouping. Your conditions are now sorted into three clear sections:
- Needs attention — anything with a problem (like a missing role or a permission issue) is surfaced at the very top so you spot it right away.
- Active — your healthy, running conditions.
- Disabled — paused conditions, tucked away and collapsed by default to keep things tidy.
- Stays out of your way. The group you're currently working in expands automatically, and you can collapse any section you don't need. On smaller setups, the list stays simple and ungrouped.
The result: less scrolling, and broken conditions are impossible to miss.
Search Your Log Notifications Instantly
Picking the right log for a notification used to mean scrolling through a plain dropdown. Now the log picker is fully searchable.
- Type to filter by the log's name or the channel it posts to.
- Matches the same quick, type-ahead experience already used elsewhere in the Log Editor.
- A clear "No logs found" message appears when nothing matches, so you're never left guessing.
Save up to 30% on Premium — Skip the Apple App Store Fee
If you ever open RoleLogic inside the Patreon iOS app, Apple adds a roughly 30% surcharge on top of your subscription. RoleLogic now looks out for this and helps you avoid paying more than you need to.
- A friendly heads-up on iPhone and iPad. When you're browsing the upgrade page in your mobile browser, a gentle notice reminds you that checking out right there in your browser keeps you at the original price.
- Clear guidance inside the Patreon app. If you're viewing the page from within the Patreon app — where Apple's fee would apply — RoleLogic lets you know and points you to open the page in Safari or Chrome instead, so you subscribe at the regular price.
- Reassurance front and center. A simple "Web checkout · no app store fees" line now sits under the subscribe button, so you can upgrade with confidence.
This is purely to help you save money — your plan and benefits are exactly the same either way.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Easier to Find RoleLogic on Search Engines
We tidied up how RoleLogic's public pages (the plugin marketplace and our help/answer pages) are published so search engines like Google index them cleanly — no more duplicate-page warnings or confusing redirect errors. In short: the right page shows up when people search for what RoleLogic can do.
A More Complete Status Page
The system status check now also keeps an eye on the image service that powers your log notification previews and composed images. If that service ever has a hiccup, it'll show up on the status page right alongside everything else — giving you a clearer, more honest picture of how things are running.
